A little post that no one will read but if I'm right, it will show future generation that I can predict the future. Without further misdirection...
Sony has always released one of its console with a technology tie-in. The PS1 was associated with the CD, the PS2 with DVD and the PS3 with Blue-Ray. My prediction is that PS4 will be associated with the 4K display size. 3D TVs don't have the penetration they were expecting but 4K could help them sell more TVs. The jump between SD and HD was big, the jump between 1080p and 4K is also a big one. Arguably, 4K is a resolution that even high end PCs have trouble with. This would therefore ensure longevity to the PS4.
Let's see in a couple of years if I was right :)
